Hip-hop legend Jay Z has filled the O2 Arena, the Camden Roundhouse and Wembley Arena. Now the US musician is to play the only major venue in London that he hasn’t performed at, Alexandra Palace.
The husband of booty popping RnB star Beyonce Knowles will take to the stage on Wednesday, 4th November with tickets for the night going on sale this Friday. The concert is expected to be an instant sell out as his Roundhouse gig sold out in just 20 seconds!
It is rumoured that the concert will feature ’special guest’ performances – a rendition of Bonnie & Clyde ‘03 anyone – and no doubt a trip to some top London night clubs with some Ace of Spades Champagne being popped by the VIPs.
Jay Z is also in London this week and rumoured to be making an appearance at Movida on Wednesday or Thursday and at Cafe de Paris on Friday for the Roc-a-fella Party following his gig with Coldplay – let’s hope Chris Martin and company play something cheery for a change or Mr Z will be Mr Zzzzzzzzz.

Hosted by Memphis Bleek this is sure to draw the celebs following the Coldplay – Jay Z concert earlier in the evening.
