Audrina Patridge toasted end to The Hills in London.

Wednesday, July 28th, 2010

It’s not unusual to throw a leaving ‘do to celebrate the end of a job, there’s always the one who has a tipple too many.  Such was the case, it seems, for The Hills star Audrina Patridge, who was celebrating the end of the show in London last night.

As she left an after-party at Mahiki nightclub, the 25-year-old nearly had the same fate as so many of Hollywood’s young starlets when she tripped on her heels.  The reality star was saved by her quick-thinking minders, who held her up, saving her from an embarrassing spill.

After quickly regaining her composure, Audrina walked on as if nothing had occurred and made a hasty exit to her waiting car, said onlookers.  While she looked a little bleary-eyed, the aspiring actress did well to avoid another young Hollywood cliche, and ensured her short dress stayed firmly in place to avoid flashing the cameras.

Patridge had earlier hosted a pool party for fans of the MTV show – which ended in the U.S. two weeks ago – at the Haymarket Hotel in London.

After a busy few days sightseeing and an appearance on Alan Carr’s chat show, she made a mad dash to the party on a motorcycle.  Arriving in a pair of skinny jeans, bikier boots and a white blouse, it wasn’t long before Patridge was red carpet ready in a tight-fitting white bandeau dress.

Fans of The Hills know Audrina is no stranger to motorbikes after regularly riding pillion on them with ex-boyfriend Justin ‘Bobby’ Brescia.

Joining Patridge at the water-themed bash was socialite Chloe Madeley, TV presenter Liz McClarnon, model Tallulah Adeyemi and Theo Wolcott’s WAG Melanie Slade.

London Nightclubs Beware: Linday Lohan is moving to town!

Wednesday, February 24th, 2010

It appears that Lindsay Lohan does have some acting talent:  she spoke with several magazines and feigned confusion over why photographers would be so interested in following her around on her escapades in New York, LA, and her other various haunts.  In an effort to avoid the press, Lohan plans to move to London where she feels people are less judgemental.  She recently posted on twitter:

“Moving to the UK is in my near future – better DJs/music, and Paris is just a chunnel away!”

As Lohan was already seen this past Thursday, February 18 leaving Mahiki Nightclub in Mayfair early in the morning, it is doubtful that travelling to London will really be a move for her away from the public eye.  The London Streets will not be the same as she is sure to frequent the London Nightclubs, Restaurants, and Bars when she moves this summer.

Saturday, November 7th, 2009

Girls Aloud singer and notorious hellraiser Sarah Harding – who is never out of the celebrity gossip magazines – is launching her own London club with the assistance of one of London’s top promoters.

Pop star Sarah and boyfriend DJ Tom Crane – a regular in DJ in the top London night clubs – have teamed up with Nick House and Piers Adam, owners of clubs Mahiki and Whisky Mist and club promoters London Parties, to open Kanaloa in the City of London which is the financial district of the English capital.

The couple have been dating for some time and are regulars in the top London clubs.

The new night club will go head-to-head with more established venues like Chinawhite, Embassy, Funky Buddha and Movida when competing for VIP clubbers.

We just hope Piers and Nick have got the Champagne ready and are braced for the bar tab…

Three Generations Of Elvis Presley’s Relatives Party at Mahiki

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

On Tuesday night Elvis Presley’s former wife, daughter and grandchildren capped a family vacation in London together with a party at one of the top VIP clubs Mahiki in Mayfair.

Guests at the Polynesian themed night club come cocktail bar – which is opposite The Mayfair Club on Dover Street – were all shook up at the sight.

Lisa Marie Presley, who gave birth to twins last year, was with her musician son Benjamin (who has just signed a reported £2.5 million music contract and was no doubt celebrating with some Champagne) who is the image of his late Elvis.

Priscilla was also there and thanks to modern science didn’t look like she was much older than her daughter Lisa Marie despite being 64 years of age.
